Find out more about how the Department for International Trade (DIT) work closely with companies in the North Yorkshire region to help them discover opportunities overseas and grow their international business.

Stephen Noblett: International Trade Adviser (ITA) from the Department for International Trade (DIT) will guide you through exporting and will cover the following:

• The benefits of exporting
• Top markets for exporting
• How to identify and overcome potential exporting barriers
• How funding can be used to attend trade shows overseas
• Finding export opportunities
• How DIT can support businesses going forward
• Opportunity for food and drink companies to speak to sector specialists

There will also be a presentation from a business who has been successfully exporting their products and services. Find out how their business has benefitted from exporting and their dos and don’ts in the export market.

We are also offering 1:1 sessions with international trade experts after the presentation. These sessions will be available from 11-12.30pm for approx. 10 mins each. If you wish to book a session please email business@richmondshire.gov.uk

The session also includes an introduction from David Boath an Innovation Specialist from RTC North on innovation and Innovate UK support and designing products/services for global demand.
