The Wakefield districts reputation as a rising star of the northern region, thriving businesses and commercial hub will take a further boost with its 6th annual business week organised by www.wakefieldfirst.com. The week will hilight sectors such as, Creative and Digital, Exporting, Innovation and more!
Running from 17 – 21st June, the week launches at one of the UK’s most prestigious Gallery’s – The Hepworth Wakefield on Monday 17th June with a presentation and Q & A panel with key national figures and delicious breakfast canopies served by quarter-finalist of Master Chef 2016 Chris Hale.
Entrepreneurs and businesses from the city are coming together to showcase exactly what the district has to offer when they champion the ambition and potential that the area holds, whilst sharing the successes of world leading organisations who have chosen the city as their preferred place to do business.
Wakefield First will host their 1st inaugural Exporting event at the picturesque Waterton Park Hotel. Meet the experts in export, highlight export opportunities and demystify common misconceptions and mistakes!
This one-of-a-kind event gives you the opportunity to hear first-hand from key figures within the world of export such as; The DIT, The FSB, Mid Yorkshire Chamber along with Key Exporters from the district; David Masters – Managing Director OE Electrics and David Greenwood-Haigh – Managing Director Coeur De Xocolat!
